A: That depends on the time line of the grant application. Most applications will
state a timeline from the date the grant was posted, the due date, the period for
review, the award date, and the start date. Generally on average two to four
months from the due date of the grant.
A: One should immediately contact the funder via their web addresses link /
address/ or telephone number provided in the grant description. The contact
information will provide all of the details to apply for the grant, such as the
deadline, amount of the grant, who may apply, and the required info to complete the application.
A: To contact us, the easiest /quickest way is via Email at prograntsandproposals@yahoo.com. The quickest way to order is via the website or feels free to call if you would like to speak to someone personally.
A: I only know of three things that are guaranteed in life….death and taxes…….AND the UNFAILING LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST. Unfortunately getting a grant is not. There are many factors that influence the receipt of a grant that are beyond the control of the grant writer. One can write an excellent grant and the funder can decide to cancel the solicitation, or funding could not come through (many times a funder will say the grant is based on the availability or allocation of funds– this is usually the case for state or federal funds), or a funder can run out of money, and even though a grant may score high, it can still not be awarded. Out of the nearly hundred or so applications I have written, perhaps only three were pulled from funding consideration, after everyone submitted an application who applied. Yet the funder provided specific reasons for cancelling that submission and reissued another application or did not.
A: No, it generally does not cost anything to apply for a grant. However, I have seen were a Foundation may require a small ($35) application fee in order to apply for the grant.
A: One can apply for as many grants as one possibly can or desires to apply. There are literally billions of dollars offered to be given away or available each year, just for the asking. But unfortunately, there is not enough time in the day to apply for that entire one is interested in applying. Including myself, for as successful as I have been applying for and receiving grants; I don’t have the time to apply for all that I would like to apply for.
